PROWL archiving changes
by Chad Schonewill - Wednesday, August 31, 2011, 08:23 AM

We've completed archiving 2010-11 PROWL courses, and it's a bit different this year (PROWL has split into 2 parts).

http://prowl.coloradocollege.edu contains the current year’s courses (2011-12) and the previous year’s courses (2010-11).
http://archiveprowl.coloradocollege.edu contains all courses in years previous to 2010-11.

A quick reminder about the correct way to name PROWL courses – the more consistently this naming scheme is used, the easier it is for students to find courses.

PROWL guides
by Chad Schonewill - Monday, August 23, 2010, 11:30 AM

We’ve created two new guides that you may want to check out - you can find them on the Help Desk website under “Faculty and Staff Computing” > “PROWL guides”

*
How to create a PROWL course – a guide to creating a PROWL course from scratch using recommended settings (good if you haven’t done it before or if you need a refresher)

* How to import from another PROWL course a guide to our recommended method of re-using previous courses. We think you’ll like this method a lot if you haven’t used it before, so take a look if you’re planning on reusing a course this year! It will allow you to import all the resources from a previous course to a new one, leaving the old course intact for archiving purposes and taking all user information out of the new one so it’s clean and ready for a new batch of students.
