Just a quick note that we've archived last year's courses - you can find them under "courses" > "archive" > "ARCHIVE - 2008-2009 COURSES"

Please note that if you'd like to re-use or modify a course that has been archived, you'll first need to move it out of the archive category and back into your regular department category (the Help Desk is happy to assist you with this)

Upcoming PROWL workshops

  Greetings and welcome back to a new academic year at CC!

Educational Technology Services will be holding several 1-hour PROWL workshops in the near future specifically targeted to faculty, so please attend one of the following workshops if you'd like to learn more about how to create and use a PROWL course (or you'd just like a refresher)!

There is no need to RSVP for these, but if you're pretty sure that you'll attend, please send a quick email to helpdesk@coloradocollege.edu so we can get a general idea of how many people are likely to come.

The workshops are all the same, and are as follows:

Wednesday, 8/26, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM in the Barnes PC lab
Thursday, 8/27, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the Barnes PC lab
Friday, 9/18, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM in the Barnes PC lab (bring a sack lunch!)
Thursday, 9/24, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM in the Barnes PC lab

Latest News on Transition from ERes to PROWL

  What is taking place:
We in the Library and ATS are moving to the next stage of ERes PROWL transition. Over the summer, the librarians will be archiving all ERes documents and burning them to CD's. Master copies will be held at the library and distributed directly to departments, if you would like a copy please contact Marianne Aldrich for further details.

How the process will continue:
The library and ATS have a list of courses scheduled to be taught Blocks 1 & 2. ATS will be contacting faculty members via email to discuss PROWL course creation and if you would like archived ERes materials or new materials uploaded to that course. If you would like a PROWL course created for you, please contact Emily Blakely (contact information listed below).

We, librarians and ATS, will be continuing this process until October 2009 when ERes subscription will end.

NOTE: PROWL course creation and support will directly be handled by ATS. Librarians will only be uploading ERes materials to PROWL.

If you have any questions about this process OR if you are teaching over the summer and would like to move your ERes materials to PROWL, please contact:
